Rail Safety Awareness Campaign in Lanarkshire Schools
The Rail Safety Project aims to enhance rail safety awareness across schools in Lanarkshire through a strategic partnership with Community Rail Partnership (CRP) members and the Learn Live team. This initiative is designed to educate students, parents, and teachers on the importance of rail safety, ultimately fostering a safer community and building future relationships with young rail users. Rail 74 Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is thrilled to announce the installation of a transformative art project, titled ‘Hope in Hamilton’, aimed at fostering hope and resilience within the community.
The ‘Hope in Hamilton’ project has been a collaborative effort designed to unite individuals supported with their mental health and wellbeing, empowering them to create an interactive art piece for Hamilton station. Through this endeavour, voices of hope will echo throughout the station, offering solace and encouragement to those facing personal struggles.
Sounds like a Volunteer Project
Building on our links with a more sustainable travel option by rail & the environment – One of the biggest challenges facing of most third sector groups including Community Rail, Station Adopters and eco community garden groups in the area is gaining new volunteers – Many of these spaces are unmanned and our ‘Sounds like a Volunteer’ project will deliver an audio podcast series that explains Rail74 CRP and 4 community groups along the line through current volunteer voices, activities explained and how the community can get involved.…
